Often, a company will give a proprietary name to some of its active ingredients. It's worthwhile to go through their documentation to find out what they're really supposed to do. Put on your hype-detecting glasses, and be on the lookout for facts, real controlled trials and statistics.
Pictures of beautiful celebrities who recommend their product do not count. If they did in fact try the product, they doubtless already had perfect skin before using it anyway.
